The Alliance to Save America’s 340B Program (ASAP 340B) will be featured on a panel at the upcoming Healthcare Innovation Company (thINc) Covered Entities’ and Manufacturers’ 340B Summit.
The general session titled “Modernizing the 340B Program To Be a Force for Good” will be guided by Thomas Johnson, Executive Director of ASAP 340B. Lending their expertise on the panel will be Robin Strongin from the National Consumers League, Nicole Coneybeer of the Cornerstone Care Community Health Centers, and Sharon Lamberton from the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.
The 340B Drug Pricing Program is a critical program for our nation’s safety net, but clarity is needed to ensure it can be a force for good for generations to come. This solution-oriented discussion will focus on ensuring the program can continue to work for safety-net providers and the communities they serve including:
Reviewing the current status of 340B and areas that need Congressional attention.
Examining how the program can and should improve health equity and underserved communities.
Discussing ASAP340B Policy Principles aimed at bringing certainty, transparency, and accountability to the program.
